Ms. Farfan goes to Washington
February 10th, 2010 by InspiredbyEducationWe wanted to quickly share an article that appeared in the Stanford Daily, recapping Gabriela Farfan’s trip to the State of the Union address. Here’s a quote from Gabriela regarding the state of math and science in the U.S.
“I think that a lot of people are scared of science and math, and that’s something we need to dispel,” she said. “I think the President really wants us to excel in science so that we can build future technologies and clean fuels for future generations. We aren’t in a good spot right now.”
