Changing Our World: You Decide

May 22nd, 2009 by Gail Dundas, Intel Global Communications Group

Earlier this week, we kicked off the Intel International Science & Engineering Fair (Intel ISEF) People’s Choice Awards to 1) highlight the amazing projects these high school students have been working on and 2) give the public the opportunity to show these students your support by voting for the one you like best (and give them the opportunity to win cool prizes). We want to hear what project you feel is most creative, innovative, and has the most potential to positively change our world. Over the next several days, we’ll be highlighting each project on our Inspire blog. You can read about all the projects and vote for your favorite by going to the voting page. Voting ends June 1st.

I’ve been fortunate enough to be involved with Intel’s annual science competitions and see high school students from around the world tackle global issues that affect all of us. What amazes me and inspires me is seeing the potential they all have and knowing that they can go on to make a huge impact on our world. Which brings me to, “What Inspires You?” Here are a few videos of people talking about what inspires them.
