Finalist Creates Augmented Reality System at the Intel International Science and Engineering Fair

Lai “Dimitri” Xue, a contestant at the Intel International Science and Engineering Fair, which is a program of the Society for Science & the Public, took his inspiration from the movie “Iron Man” to create his own augmented reality system. Watch this video as Dimitri describes what he can do with his project, including moving 3D objects in his visionary field, and also as he details the potential real-world applications of his project, such as simulated surgery for training surgeons.
