Intel Science Talent Search 2010 is underway!

January 13th, 2010 by Gail Dundas, Intel Global Communications Group

Let’s congratulate the 1,736 budding scientists across the country who submitted math and science research for consideration in Intel Science Talent Search 2010. These amazing high school students submitted projects that tackle challenging problems and issues across a range of disciplines, including biochemistry, chemistry, physics, mathematics, engineering, behavioral science, and medicine and health. Impressive stuff!

Later this afternoon, 300 of them will be named semifinalists in the Intel Science Talent Search 2010. Information about the specific semifinalists and a state-by-state breakdown will be available on www.societyforscience.org after 4 p.m. EST today.

Stay tuned to Inspire to find out who will make it to the finals and head off to Washington D.C in March to compete for more than $630,000 in awards from the Intel Foundation.
